It's usually traditional in the Blue Knights® not to re-use previous chapter numbers, which is why in November 2008 the two most recently chartered chapters, Scotland II and England XVI, were added to the conference.

England

England I

England I was formed in 1991 in Manchester and covers the North West of England with members in Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside, Isle of Man and North Yorkshire. A considerble number of the present chapters were spawned from England I.

They have at least one ride out each month, usually on the last Sunday of the month. They meet up with England V at their venues in Adlington and Romiley on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month.

England III

England III Badge1991 saw the formation of England I and they held their 1st rally that same year at Edale, in the Peak District. As their first rally was an instant success, it was decided that the membership strength was sufficient to expand the Blue Knights and form two new chapters, namely England II and England III.

England III is now in its 18th year and caters for membership in the northeast of England. They cover the polioce areas of Cleveland, Durham, and Northumbria, as well as British Transport Police, staff from HM Prison Service, and the Customs & Immigration Service.

Since 1992 England III have started the biking season with their annual rally, originally held at the Walworth Castle Hotel near Darlington. Having had to source a new venue for their annual rally they now have a suitable alternative, in the form of Ushaw College, an establishment steeped in history, and right on the doorstep of the beautiful, historic city of Durham. This is the longest-running Blue Knights rally in Europe and has become a major event in the European calendar and is traditionally well attended by visitors who enjoy the good company, good food and beer, and some excellent riding in the Pennines, Yorkshire Dales and Lake District.

The chapter is ideally located for riders, with easy access to the Peak National Park, Snowdonia and the Lake District, while easy roads pass through the Pennines to make the Dales of Yorkshire a happy hunting ground.

The chapter's Christmas Parties have become legend thanks to the efforts of the President and the fun loving guests. Monthly meetings are held at the Waggon and Horses in Adlington, Lancashire and again at Cow and Calf Inn, School Brow, Romiley, Stockport on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month.

England IX

England IX BadgeThe founder members of England IX, Chris Pulfrey, Dave Hall and Danny Kaye joined the first England chapter, England I in 1993. As the membership of this chapter increased the group split into more manageable regions and England VI was formed to cover South Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Notts. At this time they were part of the North Atlantic Conference and it was dominated by the Canadian membership. It was decided to form the UK conference and in order to help this along to get sufficient chapters, England VI divided and the South Yorkshire branch became England IX in 1997.

England IX has an ever growing membership with members throughout the South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Derbyshire areas. They meet on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at differing locations to accommodate all members. The first Wednesday of every month from May to November sees a regular a rideout with good numbers attending. It usually falls to a different member to organise a route and destination for each rideout which results in some very interesting and varied days out.

England X

England X covers the Cambridgeshire and Suffolk areas and its membership is taken from the the Prison Service, Armed Forces and Police.

Originally started by Blue Knights® serving in the United States Air Force Police at RAF Mildenhall, the chapter grew and consolidated thanks to some sterling help from ex chapter President, Squadron Leader Richard Meal RAF (Ret) now a member of Wales I.

The Club aims to have one official ride out each month which usually takes place on a nominated Sunday. As an example, England X members will more often turn out for a cold winter ride than a summer one.

The chapter is made up of 17 members, most of whom work shifts and weekends. However none of them could be described as average. England X consists of male and females, fast and slow riders, and from Hyabusas to Harleys, with even a three wheel scooter thrown in for good measure, and they describe themselves as "small but perfectly formed".

England XIII members attend many Blue Knights® events throughout the country and abroad, in particular the COPS Lawride each year.

The England XIII badge was specially designed to reflect the general area in which the chapter operates; the Bear and Ragged Staff of Warwickshire, the Elephant and Three Spires of Coventry and the Tudor Rose of Northamptonshire.

They meet on the first Sunday of the month at Jack's Hill Cafe on the A5, Towcester, Northamptonshire and at various venues around the area so that members living on the fringes don’t have far to travel. A hearty breakfast is followed by a ride out to somewhere interesting.
